Tuna Tacos and Scenic Views: Experience The Seahorse Club

Well situated on the Playa d’en Bossa is The Seahorse Club, perched just high enough above the beach for perfect views and removed from the folk hawking goods in the sand. Peaceful comes to mind. With it’s well styled space and bright colors, it reminds me of a quirky Kimpton property.

Really, you can’t beat this lunchtime view in the shade with sunny views of the sparkly Med below.

The lunch plates are small and priced in much bigger way, but that’s show biz, baby. I opted for the tuna tacos with buratta, avocado, and lime zest. While absolutely divine, the waitress warned they were small. She was right. I could have used two more.

Luckily, there was the squid two ways. While both were nice, the grilled was the clear winner for both of us sharing this dish.

And for the Gentleman, he had half of a roast chicken for some real strange beach food, but that’s the English for ya. I didn’t note any rave reviews from his side of the table, but perhaps he was also regretting his non seafood choice.

Service was good and they make sure to tell you the 10% fee is a manual add. A tacky end to a nice meal, but I’d probably do the same in that position. Come for the views…stay for…the views and enjoy a bit of better pricing elsewhere.
