Hotel de Crillon: My go-to bar when dressed for an occasion. Classically modern music and cocktails with excellent people-watching.

Little Red Door: Consistently one of the best bars in the world hidden away in the Marais. Creative drinks and lovely staff.

The Cambridge Public House: Classic British pub and food but with craft cocktails for your Marais shopping fuel

TASTE

Chez Fernand Christine: Incredible classic French country cooking in a cave atmosphere. Lively and suitable for children.

Cocorico: Comforting lunches a stone’s throw from Musee d’Orsay.

Evi Evane: Creative Greek small plates to fuel a wander around St. Germain.

Grands Boulevards Restaurant: Excellent breakfast and easy prix-fixe lunch in a courtyard.

Le Saotico: Reasonable prix-fixe with many options in the 3rd.

Le Tout: High terrace with sweeping views. Come for a coffee, pastry, drink, or full-on lunch.

Les Parisiens: Just modern enough classic bistro food served in a sleek interior; great for a date night.

Noura: Casual with an extensive Lebanese menu for sharing with several locations.

Restaurant Nolinski: Solid start to a fun night out with dinner with a show in a sexy hotel interior.

Shiro: Japanese tasting menu in St. Germain with good seating options for solo-diners.

REST

Hotel da Vinci: Boutique hotel in Saint Germain famous for serving a stowaway location for the once stolen Mona Lisa.

Hotel des Grands Boulevards: Experimental Group (Cocktail Club included) and it shows. Basic perfection of a hotel, even if the location feels just slightly off.

Hotel Jobo: Fun hotel in a great Marais location, but only if you can catch it on a deal.

Hotel Le Bellechasse: Christian LaCroix designed boutique hotel just across from Musee d’Orsay.

Hotel Saint Marc: Art deco-themed masterpiece with wonderful staff.

VISIT

Champagne: Perfect day trip from Paris for an afternoon of laughter, bubbles, great food, and cooling caves.

Eiffel Tower at Night: Get dressed and head to Monsieur Bleu for excellent views of the twinkling lights.

La Samaritaine: Grand old dame of a department store recently refurbished to architectural splendor.

Musee d’Orsay: Extensive impressionist collection in a former rail station

Musee Orangerie: See Monet’s Waterlilies in the round, the way he intended. Remarkable.

Musee Picasso: Picasso collection in a grandly refurbished mansion in the Marais.

Musee Rodin: Sculpture in a beautiful garden and former residence of the artist.

Musee YSL: Small exhibition in the former atelier.
