After the busiest summer on record…or nearly… we capped it off with a couple days of proper chill time in Ibiza. Staying in a new area to us, Playa d’en Bossa, the Hotel Garbi was centrally walkable to clubs, restaurants, and even old town which we did one ambitious day. (Nothing like arriving to a playground of the wealthy hot and sweaty, but here we are). The hotel itself was great- immaculate in cleanliness, large beachfront room, helpful staff, nice food, and thoughtful lockers and showers available for late check outs like ours. The pool was busy and had a fun cast of characters we enjoyed “getting to know” daily. While the DJ started around lunch time, guests seem to have a good time but not in a crazy way. This is 40 (and a hotel for 40ish+) I suppose.

I’d recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a good spot in the area that is not wild. However, if that’s the vibe, as was ours save one late night, look forward to exploring other areas of the gorgeous island.
