Top Dining Spots in Ibiza: Ohana’s Decadent Dishes

Our final night in Ibiza was cause for celebration for many reasons, this spectacular sunset was one of them! After traipsing around this beachfront every evening, we landed on a reservation at Ohana for the special occasion. Be sure to book, as the place was packed and with great reason!

To start, we had the best octopus of our trip that was accompanied by crispy kale and a truffled cauliflower mash. It was absolute true decadence and I debated returning for lunch the following day just to have this again, and all to myself!

For the main, we opted for a local “blonde” beef, which is exactly what it sounds like, but yields a sweeter beef due to the aging and natural feeding of these special cows for Galacia. While it looks like a wild, dinosaur steak raw, the 1.2kg monster (to share!) was accompanied by its own grill so we could cook exactly as desired.

Rather than order a standard side, we leveled up with Ohana’s version of Patas Bravas. They were nothing to write home about and really unneeded after such phenomenal octopus and beef. Lucky for the local pup wandering the waterfront resto, there were some lovely beefy bits leftover for her.

As a proper end to any celebration, we enjoyed a chocolatey dessert in the style of Ibiza, “candle du nightclub.” Totally unnecessary, but a very fun and festive end to the evening. I would run, not walk to this hidden gem!
