The V&A absolutely slays fashion exhibits and the Schiaparelli one was no different. A veritable display of art meets fashion, I couldn’t help but read every word and snap pic after pic. While some of the creations are more than haute couture, veering more toward art installation on the human form canvas, others are classic everyday pieces that optimized clothing for the women who wore, like adding exterior pockets during WWII times to support the growing workforce of women.
