A pub so nice we visited it twice…in four days. Great for kids, it was clean, chill, full of games, and the kids’ food looked just as large and lovely as the adults’.
The first night, not pictured, we managed a bit of soup and cheeseboard which made for a nice early tea.
Round two brought us independent meals- for him a scotch egg and lamb, and me, zucchini fries and one of the best salads of recent memory. Cucumber, quinoa, and greens tossed in a sesame dressing and topped with halloumi croutons- I can’t wait to recreate this at home. The restaurant staff was so kind and especially so in providing me the recipe. More on that later…
