After a busy day in the sun and an impromptu visit to Hannover beer festival, we landed at Kraftwerk for a go of their burgers. The Husband had in his head a chicken burger, and not wanting to be jealous of his choice, I also chose one, albeit a different type. The regret was pretty instant when I saw the beef burgers delivered to other tables.
However, the chicken burger was served on French toast and gave a new twist to an old classic. Crunchy, deeply savory, and slightly innovative, I was a fan, but any return visit would have to yield the classic of all classic burgers- beef! I don’t think The Husband was as enamored with his slightly boring bun, but we both enjoyed the sweet potato fries, freshly served.
I’ll look forward to another calorie indulgent meal here, but my pro-tip for anyone considering a similar Saturday evening is to make sure you find a bathroom elsewhere. Kraftwerk’s were in a carpark and absolutely foul, especially after a beer fest. Never have I ever said run for a porta potty, but you might want to.
