My cabbie brainwashed me into visiting this bakery that I knew, but didn’t exatly know I needed. That makes sense, right? He was asking if I knew of Mr. Cedric, I said, ‘mais oui!’ The luxe patisserie king who concocts sweet delights well disguised as fruit or anything else. I suppose I had this conversation in my brain when I passed the cafe, busy with tourists snacking on gorgeouslyl flaky croissants on the terrace. I had to check it out myself.
Lucky for me, queen of cookie baking, there were some fresh out of the oven! Nearly the size of my head, I went with two because I couldn’t decide on the flavor- pistachio and a coconut caramel. MEOW!

Naturally, I shared them with the Gentleman and they were so rich and thick (my drag name) that they lasted us three days. This was a huge win as they had an insanely steep price tag (I’m too embarassed to publish just how much) to accompany them. Had I had seen that part before ordering, I may have just skipped the whole transaction! Mais, what’s a once in a lifetime cookie for the road?
If you’re in queue for one of his perfectly crafted fruit concotions, be there at 10:30 when they’re first released or you’ll only catch a glimpse of a model, just as this lovely lemon.
