The first day in Rhodes were were very lucky to find the N O R Beach House project straightaway. The rental of two sun beds and umbrella at the tip of the cape for only 30 EUR seemed like a great deal comparatively. Away from the hustle and bustle, but just adjacent if you needed a moment of insanity, NOR was perfection.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with fast service and smiles. Even when other guests were behaving badly, they kept their cool, but I guess with scenery like this it would be hard not to. Sponsored by Grey Goose, the beach house/club/bar/resto featured some creative cocktails, like this Athenian Spritz (made with mastica, not Aperol), that were rather delicious.

We enjoyed snacks the first day and returned for lunch the next where we tried their trio of dips- just OK.

The white fish carpaccio was much more delicious, packed with heat and flavor.

And the watermelon feta salad, wasn’t exactly as we’d pictured, so I give it a just OK as well.

But with vibes like this, nothing else has to be perfect as the days are already.
