The champagne tour continues to the much larger city of Reims with a few nights at the Hotel de la Paix. The hotel was spacious and rather busy, complete without parking available. The room, however, felt new and clean even if the color choices were weird ones.

There was plenty of space to kick back or spreadout for a good repacking.

Always appreciative of a robe and slippers, the hotel had both, including cork-bottomed slippers.

The bathroom wasn’t terribly private with a strange door, but did the job.

The bedroom and bathroom had functioning windows, even eight stories up! The ninety degree angle still allowed you a peek into the shower from the bedroom- so funny!

The hotel was centrally located and allowed us an early check-in. It would serve as a good base for exploring, but you will be contending with groups of tourists on coach tours doing the same. So as long as you’re game to meet some new (German) friends, the hotel is a good find.
