Highly recommended by the good people of both Le Bistrot and Billecart-Salmon was Rotisserie Henry IV in the center of Ay-Champagne. While we arrived for a late dinner, the courtyard was still lovely and you could imagine how perfect it would be on a sunny day.

We started with the baked St. Marcelin with a red fruit coulis, perfect for a nibble to share.

I opted for the tuna tartare which was quite nice with lots of citrus and a side of fries. While the Gentleman opted for a trio of rotisserie meats that was nice but not as abundant as he was hoping.

Dessert brought another cafe gourmand which was fun and indulgent though not as nice as the one at Le Bistrot.
