Wow, wow, wow, it’s been a minute since my hair has truly been blown back by a restaurant. Chez Fernand Christine, found by happy accident on David Lebovitz’s recent blog post, was just that. Homey, casual vibe, great service, and incredible food made the recipe for a delightful evening.
I started with the onion soup which was absolute magic! I could have drank every last drop but because delicious food is better shared, I did just that.

The gentleman ordered the razor clams to start which I should have probably tried, but I couldn’t get over how good the soup was!

For mains we shared the beef and the lamb, pictured here. It wasn’t the prettiest dish served with roasted eggplant planks topped with whipped eggplant, but the flavors were nice and the fries were even better.

For dessert we shared the Paris-Brest and a digestif made from apricots.

Officially my new go-to restaurant in Paris. Highly recommend you give it a taste!
