Les Parisiens- Paris

If you can’t have turkey, may as well go for a French feast! After learning about the cocktail bar, James Joyce, then realizing it was attached to a really great looking resto, Les Parisiens, I knew this had to be our Thanksgiving dinner.

After a glass of bubbly for me and a smoky cocktail under cloche for the gentleman, we were seated at an excellent table in the corner, ripe for people watching.

Not usually one for a terrine, the waiter insisted that the duck one was the best, so we started there. He kindly cut it for us so we could share.

We failed to take any photos of our steak dinners which we ordered small sides of mash, veg, and frites to accompany. Waiting all day for this meal, it turns out we were very hungry!

Insistent on Thanksgiving dessert, I ordered a lemon hazelnut concoction, whose texture I wasn’t completely sold on…

The gentleman won with his pistachio millefeuille.

Quite a chef himself, the gentleman also paid a visit to the kitchen.

Les Parisiens is clearly a popular spot for locals and tourists alike in the heart of St. Germain. I’m looking forward to returning to eat everything presented on their IG story!
