Ina’s Chipotle & Parmesan Popcorn

I love, love, love an apero hour, especially while cooking a delectable meal (in this case Thanksgiving). It’s even better with an interesting nibble and Ina’s Chipotle & Parmesan popcorn fit just the bill, particularly on Thanksgiving when you’re wrapped up with 100 other tasks, as this takes approximately two minutes to whip up (if you can even call it that). The flavor was a big hit that I made it again a few nights later for an evening nibble.

Ina’s Chipotle & Parmesan Popcorn

  • One bag of freshly popped plain popcorn
  • 4 T. butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. Chipotle powder
  • 2 tsp. fleur du sel
  1. In a large bowl combine all ingredients and toss with hands to coat popcorn with butter and seasonsings.
  2. Serve immediately or if leftovers, unlikely, it reheats well in a low temperature oven, ~100C for five minutes.
