Once realizing I’d be leading a small tour to Florence over a weekend, I knew we had to return to the Four Seasons for their fabulous brunch. It was mum’s birthday and we managed to score the very last table during a busy, rainy afternoon. This time we were seated in the dining room where the buffet was which was a heavily trafficked area. It made for a slightly more hectic experience, but still fun nonetheless. The gorgeous outfit is pictured below, the calm before the storm of well-heeled Florentines.

For 120 EUR, you receive as many cocktails, glasses of wine, and courses as you can stomach. The cocktail du jour was a red vermouth spritzer and for the first seafood course, the baccala was certainly the standout.

The pasta and meat courses passed far too quickly for snaps, so I over photographed the desserts instead. My favorite was the caramel and peanut tart.

Another surprise standout was vanilla ice cream (with sprinkles!) from the old timey ice cream cart.

A perfect pairing of wine, coffee, and sweets!

Be sure to make your reservations well in advance as this popular resto is a steal for all that you can (over) enjoy. Until next time, Four Seasons!
